I am currently working on a play entitled ‘Witness to Murder’, which explores the theme of grief within a family. The play begins with the death of the mother, and follows the grieving process until the final moments of the play, where her death is cast in a very different light. Work is well-advanced on this play, and I hope to be able to make it available for performance in early 2016.
I am also working on a novel based on some of the characters from the murder mystery play ‘Gone to Texas’, which follows the life of Mahelia Werritt from her origins in 19th century Newcastle-upon-Tyne, through emigration to Chicago and her eventual fate as an outlaw in Texas.
I am also in the early stages of researching a project about Daniel Dunglas Home, the Victorian spiritualist; and writing a short film in which a woman is haunted by the image of her unconceived child.
If you would like to know any more about these projects, or if you would like to discuss a project with me, please do not hesitate to contact me.
